See the exact input, expected evidence and a manual next step before using your free review allowance.
This is an offline-tested, harmless source example, not a live customer result. Reading and downloading run no analysis and use no review allowance. The exported function is never invoked here. Do not execute the files.
1. Compare two exact files
Prerequisites: a browser and a text editor. No package installation or program execution is needed. Each file is an independent three-line TypeScript input. Review one variant at a time; selecting both would produce different file-level scope.
The only configuration change is false → true. Both retain an unresolved-or-external node:https import; dependencies, a real endpoint and runtime behavior are unverified.
High · request-before.ts:3 · crypto-tls-verification-disabled-v1
The visible HTTPS configuration sets rejectUnauthorized to false. The source operation disables peer certificate verification in that configuration. Input trust, a real connection and an attacker path are not established.
The corrected variant has zero findings in this bounded isolated example. That does not establish that a project is safe or that a fix has been executed or validated. No code, network request or project test is run.
Tested against app build SHA-256 c0ebca4bff021843ecd6e77bf326370cd614ec50a0089761314622ca65007c17
This three-line example is separate from the nine-file published topology map. An upload digest identifies selected files; it is not a Git commit or repository permission. Explore the separate topology example →
3. Turn evidence into a reasoned plan
ReviewRead path, line and exact scope.
TriageInvestigate the condition; dismiss only with a reason.
ExplainSeparate the stored fact from an unproven impact.
SecureRead partial, disabled and unavailable checks.
EngineerPlan a change and record your own observed outcome.
Suggested manual plan: inspect why the option was disabled, retain certificate verification, then run appropriate hostname, trust-chain and regression checks in your own project. Record the actual outcome only after performing those checks; this tutorial does not perform them.
Inside the full dashboard, open your saved report in any of the five workflows. Select findings, preview the exact handoff, then download Markdown, JSON or print-ready HTML. Use your browser’s Print / Save as PDF command for HTML. Notes, dismissal reasons, dismissed findings and history default to excluded. Opening, saving and exporting use no additional review allowance.
Use CodHub or Cloudburg identity sign-in and your own workspace. Reopen an existing workspace with its original provider; accounts are not automatically linked. A separate repository connection is not required for file uploads. New workspace owners review the existing Terms before acceptance.
Free workspaces: three completed reviews per UTC calendar month. On a free workspace, each completed upload review spends one free review, including partial or zero-finding results. A separate review of the second variant spends another free review. Active paid upload access has no monthly completed-review cap, with up to three reviews processing at once. Reports and saved work are available to the owner for seven days. Deletion does not restore allowance. Purchases remain paused; no card is required for the free allowance.
Download the original file above.
Open your workspace and select Upload review. If signed out, choose your original sign-in provider (CodHub or Cloudburg), then return to Upload review.
Select that file, inspect its path and size, and submit only if you choose to use one available review.
Open the completed report and compare the declared rule and line. Read coverage before recording your next decision.
Limits: 40 selected JS/TS files, 32 KiB and 1,000 lines per file, 512 KiB total, at most 80 retained findings. Remove secrets and personal data. Raw source is processed transiently; reports retain findings and metadata, not uploaded source excerpts.
Choose a selected-file static review, then investigate a retained finding, save a decision/manual plan and prepare an evidence handoff. This tutorial follows that path.
Choose AntiCode to inspect an eligible CodHub code change in its separate review and investigation workspace. Its built-in checks require SHA-1 revisions and a complete matching diff. Start with its Review Story; confirm current eligibility there.
These are independent product choices. Accounts, access, quotas and reports are not automatically shared. An optional CodHub metadata connection is separate from selected-file analysis. Repository source sync, automatic PR reviews and fix publishing are not yet available.
If the result is different
No allowance is available
Read or download this example without signing in. Revisit retained reports until they expire. Wait for the UTC-month reset shown in Review usage; do not create another account to bypass the limit.
The expected finding is missing or the upload is rejected
Compare the file SHA and exact false value, use the original .ts file, inspect parse/partial coverage and the current rule status. A later analyzer version can differ; the declared expectation is tied to the tested app hash above. Do not infer safety from absence.
A saved report or handoff is unavailable
Sign in to the correct owner workspace. Expired or deleted reports cannot be reopened or exported; refresh a stale preview after an actual saved change. A downloaded copy remains on your device.
